Visit to San Antonio!

  Visit San Antonio! Last weekend, we went to San Antonio as a part of the programmed activities for the Teacher´s Training Course. The experience was so unique. I haven´t been there before so, I found everything very interesting. The whole group was directed by Kelly and Dhara, making us feel very comfortable. The arrival was quite interesting because Pearl Brewery showed us how American people spend their free time during the weekend. After that, we moved to Boudro´s restaurant to have a delicious dish, and then we moved to Riverwalk to take a boat trip. We had the chance to take a lot of pictures and spend a nice time altogether. We also had the chance to buy some souvenirs and take some shopping at the mall downtown. Even when we return exhausted, it was a nice experience we shared as a group.

Texas Arrival!!   One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had has been the arrival to Texas. I have to tell that when I was at college I always had the dream to come to US as a student, unfortunately I couldn't because of several situations out of my hands. I have to say that it was so disappointing at the moment. Then, because of my job I had the chance to come as a teacher in other programs but it wasn't the same. Now, that I have this opportunity, I want to give my best and I will. These pictures represent a lot to me, because I felt very welcomed at the moment. In the first one, Rachaelle and her team welcomed us at the airport in San Antonio. The second one, made me feel a student again and the last one was the department welcoming, in each bed we had some items as gifts for all of us. It was just great!

Fun trip to Austin!

Coming to Austin has been one of the most experiences I have ever had. The whole process starting from the suscripcion to the program, the visit to Mexico City, the flight and finally the staying here has been so amazing!
